“Pretty Little Liars” season 5 is about to go into production, and in addition to “Ravenswood” cast member Tyler Blackburn returning to PLL it sounds like some of the other “Ravenswood” cast members will be visiting the show set as well! Here’s a note from “Pretty Little Liars” executive producer Marlene King:

We have a way to sort of visit a mini version of Ravenswood and I think we’ll probably try to do that, so that even as writers we have a little closure on that story. We didn’t have much of a chance to get that story told, but we’ll find some closure there. We’ve certainly talked about it [the cast guest starring]. The [Ravenswood] kids are all fantastic and they have become good friends with Caleb, so it’s certainly possible that they would come into his life when he returns to Rosewood.

Tyler is such a class act. Here’s what he had to say about the shows cancellation.

News of Ravenswood’s cancellation sent a flurry of supportive tweets in star Tyler Blackburn’s (Caleb) direction. So, how did he react to the cancellation and all of the fan love that came with it?

“Thanks for all of your supportive tweets!” Tyler tweeted Sunday, following the news that Ravenswood would not be returning following the 10-episode first season it recently ended on a quasi-cliffhanger. “Onward and upwards. You never know when you’ll see me on screen again.”

Will one of those screens be Pretty Little Liars? Word on the street is that the character of Caleb may be returning to the show from whence he sprang. It will be a bit awkward to reintegrate him back onto the show given that both Ravenswood spent a good part of its narrative energy trying to convince viewers Caleb needed to stay in the ghosty town (spoiler: it didn’t work). However, he hasn’t been absent long enough from Pretty Little Liars, where the Liars’ love interests often disappear for strings of episodes at a time while our girls concentrate on the “A” game, for it to affect that show so much.

Even if Tyler doesn’t return to Pretty Little Liars (which we think is a big if), we doubt this is the last time we’ve seen the hunky young actor grace our screens, especially given his go-get-em attitude. In fact, we’re excited to see what all of the Ravenswood actors do next. Though the show never really clicked as a compelling story, it introduced us to some talented young actors. Until we meet again, Ravenswood crew.

Unfortunately earlier today news broke that ABC Family decided to drop Ravenswood from it’s lineup as seen below.

The Pretty Little Liars spinoff starred Tyler Blackburn and recently ended its 10-episode run Feb. 4 with 1.4 million viewers.

Ravenswood was given a straight-to-series order early last year, but has never been a ratings performer like its mothership since debuting in October.

So that may bring people to wonder what is going to happen to this website. Megan and I will be keeping the site open as a tribute to a show that we felt was wonderful and different; we will continue to keep you up to date with the casts future projects and their lives. Just because Ravenswood was cancelled doesn’t mean that we can’t continue supporting the cast!

Luke Benward, star of the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘Cloud 9′ and ABC Family’s Ravenswood, made an appearance on AfterBuzz TV’s long-form interview show, Chatting with Cathy, Tuesday afternoon. In the interview, Benward talks about taping auditions with Miley Cyrus and discloses how he was nearly cast for the role of Luke on Ravenswood before they offered him his part as Dillon. The teen actor also expresses his obsession with the Star Wars franchise, desire to be in the upcoming films, as well as revealing which A-list actor’s career he hopes to emulate.

Benward, who landed his breakout role in ‘We Were Soldiers’ at the age of 5-years-old, says he fell into acting. Although the only thing he remembers about the audition for the role is getting out of school early, the actor does remember being on set with Mel Gibson. “Mel was an amazing man and incredibly kind with us kids. He would do magic tricks at lunch,” says Benward, “He would wrestle with us between takes. It was a great experience.”

Growing up, Benward’s family lived outside Nashville, TN, a long ways from most movie studios. His mother, an actor as well, used to put Benward and other local child actors on tape for auditions. “I booked How to Eat Fried Worms, when I was really young off tape,” the actor says. “We did a lot of taped auditions…if you want to see the kitchen we taped in, go look up Miley [Cyrus'] Hannah Montana audition, because my mom put her on tape for that. It was in [my family's] kitchen.”

The auditions worked for both Cyrus and Benward: he booked two Disney Channel pilots and several movies. Most recently, Benward starred as William Cloud in the DCOM ‘Cloud 9′ and as Dillon on the ABC Family teen drama, ‘Ravenswood.’

Benward explains how he landed the role on the ‘Pretty Little Liars’ spin-off. “I originally went in and tested for the character of Luke. I was there with Brett [Dier]…I got the feedback that [the producers] really liked me, but that they felt that I was too young looking to play Olivia’s brother. About a week later, they were like, “Hey, does Luke want to test for another character. It’s just him right now…he’s the only one in our minds for it.” I went in and they told me this character is the boy next door but he’s going to have a twist.”

Moving forward, the 18-year-old says he hopes to emulate the career of Leonardo DiCaprio. “I’m a big Leonardo DiCaprio fan. And if I could have a career like his…he’s amazing. And not only his career, his public persona and how he carries himself.”

In addition to revealing which actor he looks up to in the industry, Benward also shares his dream role. “I watched the [Star Wars] movies when I was growing up and then rewatched them like five or six years ago. I was just obsessed.” Benward says, “I want to be in [the new movies]. I want to be in Star Wars. That would be amazing.”

Tyler Blackburn has had a busy winter as Caleb Rivers, the troubled orphan on “Pretty Little Liars,” who recently got a spinoff of his own, “Ravenswood.” He’s been juggling his (now) ex-girlfriend, Hanna, back on “Pretty Little Liars,” and his new flirtation with dead girl, Miranda on “Ravenswood,” and he’s still seeking answers on both shows.

The “Ravenswood” finale airs Tuesday (Feb. 3), and Hanna (Ashley Benson) will make a guest appearance. She makes the 40 minute trek from Rosewood (where “Pretty Little Liars” is set) to Ravenswood to confront Caleb about their breakup and the mysteries he’s hidden from her. [If you haven't caught up on "Pretty Little Liars" and "Ravenswood," beware of spoilers below.]

According to Blackburn, Caleb is completely caught off guard when Hanna shows up. “He ended things and wanted to end them on a pretty serious note so that she was hurt so that she didn’t follow him,” he said. “She immediately asks, ‘Where’s Miranda?’ and puts him in a position where he has to decide what to tell her and he really does open up to her gives her some answers. I think that although they are answers, they’re not ones that she’s not ready to hear.” How does he explain that the girl she’s jealous of is dead and he’s the only one who can see her? We’re betting on an excellent “I see dead people” joke on Hanna’s end.

Caleb does decide to tell Hanna that Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson) died in the car accident in the pilot episode, but he still hasn’t figured out his own feelings about her death. “He’s reminded constantly about this history with Miranda based on their ancestry,” Blackburn said. “So [her death] puts him in a place where he doesn’t fully understand. They can’t touch. So I think it’s really unfulfilling and frustrating for him.”

Blackburn admits Caleb still has feelings for Hanna, but in show creator I. Marlene King’s world, feelings aren’t enough to keep couples together. “I think they were each other’s first loves and I think that’s undying in a lot of ways. I think Haleb fans will probably shed a little tear at one point or another.” Earlier this year, King told HuffPost TV, “Hanna is the love of Caleb’s life … Everything he does, even if it’s a heartbreaker, is always to protect her.”

Caleb and Miranda’s relationship has been a major will-they-or-won’t-they question since “Haleb” broke up on in a very tearful “Pretty Little Liars” episode and Blackburn kept mum on whether he would appear again in the final half of “Pretty Little Liars” Season 4. But he promised fans will be left scratching their heads at the cliffhanger on “Ravenswood.”

Now don’t be jealous folks, but Socialite Life was lucky enough to chat with super cutie Luke Benward this week.

The actor, who can currently be seen as Dillon on the ABC Family show Ravenswood, chatted with us about everything from Ravenswood spoilers to what he’d do if the world was ending.

In preparation for the Ravenswood finale tomorrow night, read our exclusive interview with Luke after the jump! We even got some SL family members involved in the questions, as Sabba Rahbar‘s 10-year-old sister is a huge fan. Enjoy!

What type of characters do you enjoy playing?
All kinds, honestly! I love creating and becoming someone else, so my dream is to play many different types of characters. Don’t know if I have a favorite as of now.

Can you tease anything coming up in this season of Ravenswood?
It. Is. CRAZY! One of the many things I love about this show is how many different outcomes there can be. It constantly keeps you on your toes.

Do you think Dillon has any redeeming qualities despite having a dark side?
Definitely. I would say that Dillon genuinely loves Olivia and that is the reason why he had to make her take his place: so that the sacrifice to save his life really meant something.

Have there been any compelling twists which surprised you while reading your script?
There is a HUGE twist coming up that I can’t tell y’all about, but it even caught me by surprise. I think the viewers will love it.

Is it challenging to play a dark character and having to explore a certain level of darkness?
I is a little bit, in a way, but honestly, I like it a lot. Like I said, I love to play many different characters, so to have the contrasting characters of Cloud 9 and Ravenswood is such a blessing.

What would you do if it was your last day on Earth?
I would make sure everyone close to me knew how much I really loved them and how thankful I was for them, and I would dance and run and jump and smile like it was my last day on Earth. No one regrets happiness and no one regrets love.

What would you do if you were not an actor?
I grew up playing football, so if I had not gotten into acting, I could see myself going to college and playing football… then, hopefully, the pros. Haha!

Can you tell us a bit about your family?
We are all extremely close and get along well. We love to be together, which is something that is awesome and I’m super thankful for. I am the older brother to two younger sisters and we live with our dad and mom in a house together and I love them :)

If you could work with any actor, or actors, who would you choose? And in the same vein, who have been some of your favorites to work with?
It’s a dream of mine to work with Leonardo DiCaprio, but I have been blessed to work with some great actors. Some of my favorites were Mel Gibson, Channning Tatum, and Jason Isaacs.

The end is near.
In just two short weeks, fans will be faced with the season finale of Ravenswood and it’s sure to be one terrifying tale—especially since this could be the last chance for Haleb fans to see their favorite couple reunite. That’s right, romance lovers, Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson) is headed back to Ravenswood for the first time since the Halloween episode from hell and we’ve got all the scoop on her emotional visit.

We chatted with the ghostly star, Nicole Gale Anderson, and she spilled exclusive details on what’s coming up for one of TV’s most supernaturally-challenged love triangles—Plus, pillowcases full of scoop about Remy’s (Britne Oldford) dangerous dreams in tonight’s all-new episode.

Grab your jammies and your favorite teddy bear because we’re about to step into one of the most frightening nightmares in TV history. We all know that Remy has been having some severe sleep issues, but did you know that those on the other side can invade your dreams?

Miranda is discovering some new powers in tonight’s episode and you’ll definitely want to stay awake to see them. “I think in one of the earlier episodes, fans were able to see Miranda and Caleb connect through their dreams, and that’s something that she’ll be able to do again,” Anderson said. “Miranda will help Remy out with her dreams and she’ll be able to jump into them.”

So what will Miranda be doing in this dark dreamland? Let’s just say that our little orphan ghost has definitely got some pent-up aggression that she’s ready to unleash onto as many supernatural beings as possible. Basically, Miranda embraces her new powers and becomes a complete and total badass. You do you, girl!
